Free download
This started as a drum and synth bass loop to improvise over. I did, and it became something quite interesting. I added an arpeggio treated synth part, a 1970s styled Hammond organ and it took off for the future and beyond.

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
So, what is electricity? it's something quite mysterious. It doesn't actually 'flow', through the wires ... oh no, it's an invisible force-field ... and best of all, without it, I wouldn't have been able to create this piece of music. Sometimes 'musical magic', just happens and pieces of music almost drop into your lap from nowhere. This is one of those recordings.

takes me back to 1979 when synth pop was truly emerging as a genre in it's own right, thanks to Bowie's Heroes & Low two years earlier and Tubeway Army's smash Are Friends Electric. Great track, love it!

I can hear a lot of commercial potential in this track, it would be a great backdrop for electricity or telecommunications companies to use in their advertising campaigns! Excellent production & first class guitar playing

Wow ! Wall of sound !love that first shimmering guitar intro . Sets the whole tone . Great guitar over the imposing synth bass and drums . Love the synth tones and you can almost see the electricity flowing through those cables ! Fantastic production and playing on all fronts !
