Lifelong Pianist, first lesson aged 7. Soundclick (various sites) since 2006. Purely for Pleasure - Mine and Yours. (Charting 3 only.)
So Hi There. I use Soundclick as a general searchable website, whilst being cautious about information shared (as we all should be).Trinity College of Music, London educated by a splendid teacher called Mrs Davies in Heaton Norris, Stockport UK. I started playing Piano in public at St Annes School, Heaton Chapel, Stockport. I then went on to play for 9 years for Joan Bates Dance School (or Academy) Stockport. Really enjoyed working The Kings Hall, Belle Vue, Manchester as Pianist for various shows for children, including the British Railways Carnival held there each September. One of the greatest loves of my life. Then I moved on to small bands, Manchester Clubs on electronic organ. I also had a very successful function band working out of an Alan Arnison Agency at top Manchester five star hotels, sharing ownership with the late Alan Yates (guitar). 1977 to 1979 I worked as a Pianist and Organist for Pontins Holidays at Prestatyn, Wales. On this site I learned about Magic, Cabaret Puppetry etc. and in 1981 myself and my wife Susan became full-time Entertainers. We toured Holiday Sites, small Theatres and did 1000s upon 1000s of Private Parties for Children and Families over 39 years - retiring November 2019 (a month before the Covid pandemic - how lucky was that!!!). We were never out of employment - ever! - during our careers working together as "Ace Parties of Wilmslow" "Tony and Sue Marionette Cabaret" "TAS Entertainments" etc. I achieved write-ups as a musician, and we did likewise as entertainers in the old prestige London Publication "The Stage and TV Today" - so I guess that was nice.
