Story behind the song
I wanted to write a concept album about a guy who has a heart attack. He gets a heart transplant, only the heart is that of a serial killer. He turns into a serial killer. This was the first song on that. The second was the song "Transmissions". The third was a song called "Kill the Kids. Eat the Wife" that I lost. The final song was called "Voices Carry". It was a silly idea, sure, but what else do you do when you're 24, depressed, and needing to write lyrics really quickly?
