Lyrics
Her eyes would never look at mine I could never look away My love became too strong to hide I love her more today The seed we planted barely took It never reached the sunlight Then a rainstorm washed it up To soil rich and bright I didn't think the seed would grow Until I saw a new green stem Then a leaf unfolds And a flower blooms And it begins Now shes my friend Shes my wife Shes the love Of my life Till the end Finally she looked at me Then she knew my love was true Though it took a while to see I knew she loved me too I didn't think the seed would grow Until I saw a new green stem Then a leaf unfolds And a flower blooms And it begins Now shes my friend Shes my wife Shes the love Of my life And I know its not easy Putting up with me So I need to make her understand How much she means to me Shes my friend Shes my wife Shes the love Of my life Shes my friend Shes my wife Shes the love Of my life Till the end Words and Music (c) 1985, 2025 by Jack E.
