Story behind the song
John was having trouble writing a song and was "getting nowhere" when he took a break he realized getting nowhere man was something and the lyrics flowed quickly ! He also probably had found the magic of the guitar in standard tuning in the key of E "magic"...chords and progression ore beautiful !
