Robert Baitinger, a songwriter from Germany
For songwriters who dont sing or perform it is extremely hard to make ones mark in the music business because they dont have a platform to present and promote their work. This is more or less the situation that I, Robert Baitinger, a songwriter from Germany, have been confronted with since I started writing songs in 1978. My idea is to complement my songwriting capabilities with the "helping hands" of excellent artists, musicians and innovative producers. In the age of the internet it has become easier to communicate and collaborate with musicians and producers all over the world. I am utilizing the internet and pursuing the idea of a conceptual studio band with a frequently changing lineup of artists. I call this project the "Rob B. Project" since I supply the melodies and/or lyrics of a song and other musicians/producers/songwriters contribute their talents and skills to make it come to life.

Lyrics
SECRETS Verse 1: I went to the shed for a shovel Started to dig a hole I wanted to bury my troubles To ease my tortured soul Verse2: I found bone after bone after bone Started to take a form I wanted to stop but I couldnt I kept on finding more Chorus: These secrets that I had hidden Skeletons from the past Out here in the open They're coming out, coming out at last Verse 3: I pieced them together one by one And gave them all a name There was avarice, guilt and anger Reasons to feel ashamed Verse 4: They were part of a larger family I'd laid away to rest Now I'm out here digging up old bones As a way to confess Chorus Bridge: You might think you've got them buried But they'll come back some day Probably when you least expect it They'll come out to play Verse 5: They'll dance about pointing a finger The way your conscience does They'll lay the weight of the world on you Bring up more dreadful stuff Verse 6: You can bury them, cover them up But a days gonna come When somebody starts digging around And finds out whats been done Chorus Lyrics: Carroll Kiphen Music: Robert Baitinger
