Those who have experienced DYMEZ’s music agree that his flow takes you on a journey. This singer/songwriter hits audiences with a high-energy live show that serve to showcase his natural talents as a powerful vocalist and entertainer.
In 2000, DYMEZ left his beloved Kingston, NY for California's Bay Area. It was here that he would meet a young producer/engineer named Plex They would go on to create "The Product". It was this 14 track demo which caught the attention of Frontline Music Productions( F.M.P.)and secured DYMEZ a coveted spot on Frontline Music Productions 2001 'Top 10 Bay Area Unsigned Artists' list.
DYMEZ’s debut album, Uncut & Raw, P&D Ent./F.M.P., is a collection of "BANGERS". Songs such as "Nobody Knows" and "Stay on your Grind" struck a chord with audiences of all ages. While tracks like "Watch Yo Girl" kept even the thugs hancuffin' their ladies in the clubs. A native New Yorker, DYMEZ quickly gained westcoast popularity. He became heavily sought after for guest appearances by some of Cali's heavy hitters.Best known for "24/7", his collaboration with Bay Area rapper Cutty Black.
DYMEZ had established himself as the Bay Areas rising star but in late 2002 he was offered a scholarship to play basketball for in NY. After a long red-shirt year he decided to leave the b-ball game for "The Hip Hop Game". Now back in the Bay Area, DYMEZ has reunited with Plex and Diamond Jim at Frontline Music Productions. In his first two weeks back DYMEZ completed "Da Pre-Game", 14 songs to promote his up-coming album "Most Anticipated".
