sometimes when I'm walking I hear music in my head you might think I'm crazy, but it's something else instead sounds alot like music coming from a place way down inside don't you ever hear it when you're walking down the street? your voice sings out a melody to the drumbeat of your feet and all of a sudden the music is playing well that's what I'm saying the whole thing seems alive I can't deny that what I hear is meant to come outside though I try I cannot fight it there's no place to hide and while I'm walking I start talking every word in my mind and then in a minute I'm right there within it I've got to begin it 'cause now it's alive it's the song inside sometimes in the evenin' when I'm laying in my bed my feet will start to tappin' from the rythm in my head and my wife thinks that I'm crazy and tells me baby just be still so I quench it for a moment, try to keep it all inside and like a pressure cooker cookin', the whole thing blows sky high and suddenly I'm singing out and dancin' to the song in my head and even though nobody is around me at the time I hear music clear as day from a place way down inside I know I might look real strange but let me tell you why I'm full of the rythm that my God has given and soon I'll be living the tune in my mind it's the song.. and like an ocean moving I can't slow the tide I let the music move and take me for a ride I'm always listening for the song that's in my soul I'm never worried I just let it take control chorus
