Story behind the song
In the 1990s, Monkey Morris was our roadie. He used to drive his amazing automobile around with my band and me. I suppose too many romances ended badly for him, and he tragically committed suicide at an early age. The number of friends who attended his funeral was too large for the church. This song is roughly twenty-five years old. Monkey Morris has a brighter ending thanks to the song and video. Online sequencers were used to create this remix. The majority of the vocals were taken from a live performance of the song at Smekklysa Records, where Bjork and the Sugar Cubes used to perform, in Reykjavik, Iceland.
