This evocative guitar instrumental had been stored away unheard and un-used since 2021. After listening to it again, I decided that it really is much too interesting to be discarded, and that it really needed to be included on an album.

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
A general air of sadness pervades the scene. You may look out to sea, but just behind you in this once lively, but now 'down at heel', seaside town, is the burnt-out and now rusting ruins of the fun-fair.

You’re getting some great guitar sounds out of the pod and played expertly ! It’s a great melodic soundtrack and I can picture the declining seaside town you describe . Really good !

A very reflective & bitter-sweet vibe. I think we can all relate to the picture you are painting. Perfectly produced &n mixed!
