An electric guitar variation on a mainly acoustic instrumental by Bill Nelson. Bill's version is called, 'The Boy With The Cowboy Tie'. My title change is due to having an electric guitar as the main feature.
dreamy wonderful electric guitar melancholy nostalgia

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
This is my 'variation', on a beautifully melodic instrumental by Bill Nelson. On Bill's recorded version, the main melody is played on an Ovation acoustic guitar. I've used my Yamaha SA 1000 guitar throughout and taken flights of fancy with the main melodic theme, and improvised on it further. The chords are very simple ... (C) / F / C / F / C / Am / G / C. A very pleasing sequence to improvise over in the C major scale.
