Ive written hundreds of songs over the past 40 years. I love Jesus, the word of God, people and music. I play guitar, bass and sing. Thank you for listening!
My music is about the new life found in Jesus Christ. He is our access to the Father and is worthy of all praise and glory. He has taken our sins away by the selfless sacrifice of His death upon the cross. He is deserving of songs and worship. The sound of my music is influenced by the delta blues and artists that have followed through the 60s and 70s who have taken this music and written folk, Americana, and Rock n Roll. Thank you for listening to my songs, and also the collaboration projects, thank you to all who contributed to these songs..

Lyrics
Walking Through The World Verse 1: Look all around at the faces Look all around what do you see People in need of a saviour People in need of someone to believe. Verse 2: There is a way that is right and true There is a way that leads to life There is a way that leads to the Father There is a way it is through Christ. Chorus: Were more than conquerors; through Jesus, we triumph. As we seize Jericho, singing praise to the Lord. Hail His name forever; through Jesus, we triumph, As we walk through the world, winning souls for the Lord. Verse 3: Through the scorching sun and the blazing cold, He tests our faith as we walk through this wicked world. Setting us on the path to victory, navigating these roads remains a mystery. Chorus: Were more than conquerors; through Jesus, we triumph. As we seize Jericho, singing praise to the Lord. Hail His name forever; through Jesus, we triumph, As we walk through the world, winning souls for the Lord. Verse 4: We sing hallelujah to the Lord; Hes our comfort and rock in this world. We surrender our hearts to the Lord; Hes our guide and only friend in this world. Outro: All who are hungry, in distress, or despair, There is one we can put our trust in him. Come to the Father through Jesus the Son; give Him praise. This life has just begun. Copyright 2024 John Matteson and Richard Shekari Guitar: John Matteson Produced by: Richard Shekari
