Goodbye
It’s gone
I won’t cry
Don’t reply
I’ve moved on
Your conversation’s dry
Ten is twenty
I’ve lost so much time, it isn’t funny
If id played my cards right, there’d be plenty
Casting shadows when the day’s not so sunny
In retrospect
I realize
Why this didn’t connect
I’ve turned the page
And seeing that I’ve built a solid foundation
Without even knowing, I’ve set the stage
I see that everyday should be a celebration

I won the prize
I reflect, I was correct
I feel reborn
The hard times built this revitalization
I’ll follow through with everything I’d sworn
I won’t stop until I reach my destination
