This song is based on a John Barth short story. The songwriter believes he too is a small sperm moving through the fallopian tube of life.

Story behind the song
Love for the human race inspired J. Barroca to write this song and we're all the better for it. He once kissed a picture of John Lennon(but denies it now).
Lyrics
At your service, hopeful and ambitious. In miracles, thoughtful and religious. But where do I look to find? I guess it slipped my mind. I asked the soul of mystery, and she said, "Look in the space and silence, In the eddy of time, Beyond the mist of your mind, Look for something within." We spend our days making our handshake feel warm In an atmosphere so cold. But that's OK 'cause they say we'll find happiness Bathing in a pot of gold. On my guard, worried and suspicious. Oblivious, buried in conditions. Was it always so easy to be blind? Maybe it just slipped my mind. I asked the soul that terrifies me, and she said, "Look in the space and silence, In the eddy of time, Beyond the mist of your mind, Look for something within." We make the rules on the taming of the world, But can you tell me where I'm at? I don't know, everything is crazy, It could be this or that. Lack of conviction, oh the morality, No restrictions, except for mortality. So what's the point in trying...but that doesn't mean a thing... What's the point in lying...but that doesn't mean a thing... It must have slipped our minds It must have slipped our minds We make the rules on the taming of the world. We are the brave and the bold. I made my point, but I needed the money, So in the end it was sold. I spend my days making our handshake feel warm, But now it feels rather cold. We had ideas, we were gonna do it all, But now I guess we're too old. [Look for something within] But that's OK 'cause they say we'll find happiness [Look for something within] Bathing in a pot of gold.
