Imagine The Doors, 2Unlimited and Tom Waits would have met in the studio to produce a track together.

It started as a female fronted heavy rock project. Throughout the rehearsals they began experimenting with different styles, such as Funk, Disco, Electro...
Founded in 2019 as "Heathens". The musical influences of GoH rank from the 1960 to the 1990, using both vintage gear as Fender Rhodes of Hammond Organ as well as modern synthesizers. Their lyrics are rather about what's recently going on in the world, so better don't expect too much positivity. Story behind the song
I was remembering my childhood back in the 90s. The future back then looked like an exiting adventure. Of course there were also voices warning us from what is about to come. Polution, poverty, pandemics, war. But we would take it easy. Never thought there would be a war in Europe again. Yes, we were a bit concerned about mankind exploiting mother earth, but we didn't really think that we could feel the effects of global warming in our own life. People rather acted as life would be a neverending party. Never thought we ever would conset weapon deliveries. Now we find ourselves without any hope life would become better again. We are harvesting what we have sown back in those days. The only hope we got is that things wouldn't worsen too quickly and we might have a few moments of happiness before we die.
Lyrics
Where are we now and what happened while we slept our time away? Woke up each day with the feel inside that god was never here. It's come to this, the war back in our hearts. Back in those days, the future bright and clear. When will we dance? When the tyrant's head will roll between our feet. Accept the guilt, we will live in shame so we will live at all. It's come to this, the rivers have run dry. Back in those days, when it all began. It has to be done... All dream are dead...

My review of this is now posted on Soudnclick's Critics Corner, Langer. Good work. Sorry for being so tardy in getting to this.
