Story behind the song

After I met my ex-wife in 1998, I started writing lyrics to this song. In 2002 it would became the very first song that I ever recorded professionally. However, this was originally meant to be a CD single only, but after it was recorded, we decided to record a full album of professionally produced songs, and that's how "Journey By Rail" came to be. This is still one of my all-time favorite songs.
