Station82(ForThoseInTreatment)
A classic Rock Ballad , tries to sound like the 70's. Based on guitar with brass and strings. An a long psychedelic synthi ending.
I am half blind autist
Singer Songwriter from Berlin
Story behind the song
My new song is about an extended stay in a psychiatric facility that I couldn't easily leave.
The ward of the Urban hospital had locked doors to the outside. To the normal area of the hospital. The doors had large areas of glass.
But when I approached the glass , I saw that it was several centimeters thick security glass.
Loitering at the doors to look at the normals was not encouraged.
I was there for seven weeks. I felt like an insect caught between two window panes, flying or crawling back and forth senselessly, but never changing anything about its situation. Thank you for listening.
Lyrics
For those in treatment
the same ways to go
the only ways i know
windows to look out
windows to look in
allways meet the same people
in the same rooms
allways hear the same voices
reflected by the walls
go from one glass door to another
and the glass is thick as a brick
put your finger knock on it
and it sounds like a bass drum kick
the same ways to go
the only ways i know
windows to look out
windows to look in
and you can:
watch the balloon for the tourists
going up and down
every 15 minutes
the people can watch the town
you must ask for permission
if you wanna get out
but maybe maybe thats not allowed
and you can:
go from one glass door to another
and the glass is thick as a brick
put your finger knock on it
and it sounds like a bass drum kick
the same ways to go
the only ways i know
windows to look out
windows to look in
youcan:
watch the balloon for the tourists
going up and down
every 15 minutes
the people can watch the town
you must ask for permission
if you wanna get out
but maybe baby thats not allowed
