They had seen a shocking scene
It made them want to cry
A different look was all it took
condemning men to die
We all want a change
The status quo has got to go
how do we make it so?

tempers runnin’ high
Mad as hell but we could tell
there was a reason why
Changing laws has been done before
it never really works
Sad to say our DNA
has prejudice that lurks
