I'm a songwriter who loves to collaborate with other songwriters, vocalists, musicians and producers.
For songwriters who dont sing or perform it is extremely hard to make ones mark in the music business because they dont have a platform to present and promote their work. This is more or less the situation that I, Robert Baitinger, have been confronted with since I started writing songs in 1978. My idea is to complement my songwriting capabilities with the "helping hands" of excellent artists, musicians and innovative producers. In the age of the internet it has become easier to communicate and collaborate with musicians and producers all over the world. I am utilizing the internet and pursuing the idea of a conceptual studio band with a frequently changing lineup of artists. I call this project the "Rob B. Project" since I supply the melodies and/or lyrics of a song and other musicians/producers/songwriters contribute their talents and skills to make it come to life.

Lyrics
THE MAN THAT TIME PASSED BY Verse 1 It’s been twenty years, ten thousand tears Since the day I disappeared On a silver sphere sent into space To explore Mars' atmosphere Verse 2 I was mourned then all but forgotten The way heroes often are My wife remarried; my kids grew up While I wandered among the stars Pre chorus Time’s marched on Things have changed My world is not the same Nothing is As it was It all seems so insane Chorus I’m the man, I’m the man The man that time passed by I’m the man, I’m the man The man that time passed by Verse 3 It’s been twenty years, ten thousand tears But today I reappeared On a radar screen they’ve spotted me I’ve entered earth’s atmosphere Verse 4 I’ve been cheered then all but forgotten Like news stories often are Nothing is as it once was Except for the moon and stars Pre chorus Chorus Bridge My soul is as empty As the void of space I have no place in this world I have no place in this world Chorus Lyrics: Carroll Kiphen Music: Robert Baitinger
