Story behind the song
The most perfect melody. The switch from major to minor chords, - perfect intro and ending. This was instantly recorded by Legendary Pianist LIBERACE. I bought a piano copy around 1970 and still have it somewhere - not needed as this is firmly fixed in my mind, and brings back personal happy memories. I have copied LIBERACE'S ending to this piece . . . I ask the question . . . how did John Lennon manage this? I'd suggest input from fantastic musician and Hammond Organist George Martin. But there again I may be wrong . . .
