A Mother And Her Son

A touching piano ballad with three part harmony. Was written as a wedding gift to Brian's Aunt, specifically for the dance between her and her son, the groom. Reports are that there wasn't a dry eye in the house after the DJ played this song...

Retro grooves for the new millenium. Pop/rock songs, some ballads, and heartfelt lyrics.
Retro grooves and thoughtful melodies and rhythms, made into soulful Pop/Rock/Blues tunes for the new millenium. This music has a feel reminiscent of a whole lot of stuff you probably haven't heard in a while, but always remember fondly. Don't forget to play it loud.

Lyrics
Here we are, face to face. Oh how time does slip away. But this moment is for just you and I. In some ways it's goodbye. In some ways it's hello - To a whole new world that's out there. Do you remember all those times, When it was you and I? Strength will always come From the love between a Mother and her Son. Both now and then, You have been There for me, and I thank you so Yes I thank you so. (chorus) Do you remember all those times When it was you and I? Oh, how life's begun...

Very lovely song to share between a mother and her son at his wedding. The lyrics say it all to nearly every mother out there and their sons. Great instrumentation and 3 part harmonies. Nice work by the piano player for sure, they were right on the money. Peace and Blessings, John
