Jonahs Curse is a long running DIY project specializing in instrumental Heavy Metal that has returned after a long hiatus, it is not my day job. I do this for fun, the love of the music, and learning as I go. The story of this project can be traced back to the late 90s when two brothers Jonah Haggett on Bass and Eugene Messier on Guitar joined forces to create Explicit Noise and with the addition of Seth Austin on Drums the band soon developed a small but voracious following in the central Vermont area and shortly after the addition of second guitarist Adam Richardson changed their name to Lycanthropy, due to personal conflicts the group was disbanded. Jonahs Curse is the natural continuation albeit with only one remaining member, on this page you will hear both new compositions and reinterpretations of those great old songs from the past.
