This is my late-2003 first Soundclick single, re-uploaded after seven months of shame for your own amusement.
The songs are made with my electric guitar, recorded onto my 4-track portastudio.
That's all I use, you see.

Story behind the song
I found the chords on my guitar. With my other singles, the story stops there. However, I wrote the lyrics, then, er, sang, on it aswell.
Lyrics
These took me 3 hours to write, last December:
Verse 1: There never is a good time for saying what you feel,
But you still did the best you could, it’s gonna have to do.
Every time he sees you, he gets a little worse,
He regrets the day he went away, and he still misses you.
There’s chocolates on your doorstep, and flowers on your car,
These are his ways of telling you he finally wants you back.
Should you let him in your life, the choice is yours my friend!
He waits in the fields ‘til the crickets sleep, and the sky has turned to black.
Chorus: But then that fateful day arrives, and what you gonna do?
People wanna take you out, your life seems really fair.
And everything is easy when you’re liked by everyone,
Your train pulls up, you step outside, but no-one’s waiting there.
Verse 2: It’s been 16 days since I last saw her, I wonder how she is.
She told me she had to go, and now I’m all alone.
I count the days ‘til she comes home, but I can’t stand the wait.
It’s times like these I realise how fond of her I’ve grown.
She returns to me in 7 days, though that seems far too long.
I’ll call her up, tonight at ‘9, and all my love I’ll send!
Everything’s so boring, without the girl I love,
In a week, I’ll her face, and see her face again.

Verse 3: The future looks so empty, unless it is with you,
On the day I first met you, the seeds of love were sown.
There’s nothing I don’t like about you, I hope you feel the same.
As the days have passed us by, my love for you has grown.
I’d do anything for you, ‘cos that’s how much I care,
