A soulful vocal leads you through this bluesy song, written about the confusion, anger and heartbreak of an impending breakup. Reviews: [Eric] awesome!!! This song hooks you in right from the start and just doesn't stop rocking!

Retro grooves for the new millenium. Pop/rock songs, some ballads, and heartfelt lyrics.
Retro grooves and thoughtful melodies and rhythms, made into soulful Pop/Rock/Blues tunes for the new millenium. This music has a feel reminiscent of a whole lot of stuff you probably haven't heard in a while, but always remember fondly. Don't forget to play it loud.

Story behind the song
This song was written back in the early 80's for a garage rock trio. We figured it was a good song to revamp and let loose on. It wound up taking considerably more time in the studio than anticipated (6 sessions!), mostly because the ideas kept coming and everything was sounding so great. We really hope you enjoy this song as much as we do... this is our crowning achievement to date, both for production and for performance. Written by Walt Collins (BMI), recorded/produced at Waltenstein Studios 10-11/2000. Walt - vocals, drums, bass, trumpets, harmonica, keyboards. Brian - guitars, keyboards, percussion.
Lyrics
My dinner's on the table But that's just words you say I look at you and start to think Why am I fed this way? If you feel like complaining Just get it in the air 'Cause how it is is causing me To go I don't know where It seems so different lately Our love has turned so blue What went wrong? Where did it happen? I haven't got not one damn clue! Should I stay or should I go? I don't know how I feel If I go and I come back Will that mean that it's real? I know the time is not far off When I'll take leave of you I want to want you But I just don't know how... Will we make it through? What's happened baby tell me? And why does talking always bring us down? And at dinner you look at me... Through those narrowed eyes... Above that awful frown We loved each other once What's happened to it now? I know we'll make it - sure I'm sure I just don't know how
