Joe Robinson is a seasoned musician with a passion for hard rock and a prolific songwriter and guitarist, known for his emotive lyrics and infectious melodies.
I grew up in a family of musicians and started my journey in the eighties, first writing songs and singing and later picking up a guitar. In 1995 I recorded my first album "Train of Tears" with my band PHOENIX at Ultimate Music Studios that was engineered by Grammy award winner Lonnie Park, and shortly after the band folded. Over the years I've played with many talented players and bands, but bands came and went and I got tired of starting all over again with every new project so in the end I decided to go it alone. The three releases, “Faith, “Heart of Stone, and “My Technology are a culmination of my writing while I was away. I released them all at once as both a reintroduction and also as a glimpse of what I’m capable of as an artist. My way of saying I’m back and ready to continue the journey I started long ago.

Lyrics
A thousand miles away I walk among the falling leaves that drop from the trees like the rain Seasons change but it’s just not the same as I imagined As good as it might be, to finally be free Part of me still wished that I had stayed Cause home feels like A thousand miles away The clouds give way to stars burning like candles Shining through the night to light my way A whisper on the wind, an old feeling back again Where it leads I will follow I sail along an unknown course, a boat lost out in the sea Settling for any port, that’s not where I used to be The sun sets in the west, and I’m closer than I’ve ever been But part of me still wished that I had stayed Cause home, feels like A thousand miles away Yeah home, feels like A thousand miles away
