An Alt-Rock/Psych song I recorded way, way back in 2012!
alt rock
I am a musical journeyman, and have been recording (on and off) in a home studio, since about 1988. I experiment with different forms, methods, and styles,
I began to recording on a cassette 4-track (Tascam Porta-One) in 1988, and enjoying the whole process of recording sounds, I then purchased an Atari ST, running Cubase Vs1. I moved on to a digital 8-track in about 1998 (Roland VS-880) and then to a more modern mac setup, which I'm using now. I am a visual artist, as well as a musical experimenter, an dI believe this does inform the way I work.

Lyrics
Shoot The Moon, Shoot the moon, so you won't have to croon, we raise Cain, to bring on the rain, The left hand builds up, what the right hand brings down, don't you think it's time to stop playing around, What we're taught to think is happiness, is what really destroys, isn't it about time, to stop playing with toys, Oh, stop playing with toys! Sing a song of sustenance, sing a song, and have no fear, always try to reject the mark, they'll try to make us all wear! Oh that's the only way to go, So make your mark, while you've still got the time, paint your canvas, it'll turn out fine, Write a poem at the start of the day, go to Hawaii, watch the Hula girls sway, (Repeated Verses) Bring it on, sing a song, Oh that's nice!
