In Humanity

What if you saw me crying in the street?
Would you stop to see if I was in need?
What if the shoes were on the other feet?
Would you want me, to stop and see why you where crying, in the street?
Well the morals of this human’s race
Gives me feelings I’d like to replace
Cuz’ I can’t pretend that I don’t see
That there’s something missing…in humanity
What if you saw me lying on the ground?
With visions of violence scattered all around?
And though I try to speak, I couldn’t make a sound?
Would you hold me, and comfort me, while I was lying, there on that ground?
Well the morals of this human’s race
Gives me feelings I’d like to replace
Cuz’ I can’t pretend that I don’t see
That there’s something missing…in humanity
(Bridge)
And where’s the Love that we brag about
when we see someone who goes without
And, what’s so great about humanity
When we’re letting people starve in poverty
That’s right pass the buck, you elitest/fucking schmuck
And hope it goes away with a little luck
But it all comes down to this you see
We are all same…here in humanity
(Guitar Solo)
