Story behind the song
The world lies in the darkness of the evil one. If one is of the world he travels in this world in the darkness and is under the wrath of God. Jesus said, “I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” What a wonderful promise of restoration of what was lost in the garden. Also we have a prayer promise to those who follow, if we pray together with one heart in agreement about anything according to the Lord's will, He will grant it. That is a promise. Is this not one of the reasons why the Devil and his hoard fights so hard to keep us from flowing as one in the spirit. Does it (the war) not cause us to walk at times in our own stubborn way of darkness and keep us from praying together. May the Lord grant us grace and open up our spiritual eyes to walk according to His Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law......Why? Because we are governed by the law of the Light of life.
