A song from 1968 by The Equals ... a UK pop group. I've always liked this one. So, I decided to have a go at doing it myself...just for fun. It is indeed a great song to play and sing. Pick the key that suits your vocal range and have a go. This version is ... (chorus) C / G / D ... repeated ... (verses) D ... D7 if you feel clever, put a capo on your guitar neck at the 5th. fret and then play G / D / A etc.

The equals then eddy went solo with electric avenue etc ! loved this when i was a kid ! love that simple riff ! guitar sounds great as does everything else ! great arrangement and love how it fades at the end . another cracker David

Great version David, takes me back to the good ol' days! The songs in those days always had a great riff that you could always recognise anywhere. Enjoyed that!!
