A 'twangy guitar', instrumental version of a well known calypso song. I'm not certain who actually wrote it...it seems to be a little vague. It's an old tune from Hawaii, I think. I had great fun learning how to play this.

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
I've known this song since I was quite young. Calypso pre-dates reggae I guess. Anyway, I like the 'Island vibe' this tune has . It's very much an out-doors kind of music. Music for fun, drinking and Limbo dancing... I used my Eastwood Astro Cadet Bill Nelson Signature guitar on this recording. ok, where's my can of Red Stripe Lager.
Lyrics
Sing along if you can remember them.
