Story behind the song
The lyrics to this song were written in 1992 about an ex-girlfriend. When she got on a bus to go home to visit her family, I had a bad feeling she wasn't coming back. I composed the music in 1994, and held onto it until 2003 when I finally recorded the song. It wasn't until years later when I reconnected with my ex, and today she happens to be one of my very good friends. Yes, she's heard the song, and she loves it.

(2nd verse) I never met anyone like you, you're the best I've ever had, now here the thought of losing you has hit me hard and made me sad.
