I am a musical journeyman, and have been recording (on and off) in a home studio, since about 1988. I experiment with different forms, methods, and styles,

I began to recording on a cassette 4-track (Tascam Porta-One) in 1988, and enjoying the whole process of recording sounds, I then purchased an Atari ST, running Cubase Vs1. I moved on to a digital 8-track in about 1998 (Roland VS-880) and then to a more modern mac setup, which I'm using now. I am a visual artist, as well as a musical experimenter, an dI believe this does inform the way I work.

to fragrant climes, and calming palms,
and pleasant streams below,

And pearly shells are calling us,
the slit-drum beats out our time,

In caverns fused from molten rock,
far as the eye can see,
lie cities of the ancient ones,
glimmering so splendidly,

With artful eyes of wizened craft,
they dwell amongst us, unseen!

A paper folds, the shape evolves,
the master's hand silently moves,
in quiet resolve, of thoughts untold,
reveals the mystery,
