About David Harsh David Harsh is a native Washingtonian who is committed to glorifying God with his music. He began his serious musical study in college, where he learned to sing classically in six languages. However, he soon discovered a desire to proclaim God's truth in his native language, and began writing his own music. He studied acoustic guitar with a private instructor while at college, and is now in full pursuit of a career in music ministry. Since college, he has gone on to study with some of the greatest acoustic guitarists in the world, including Alex De Grassi, Tony McManus, and Pierre Bensusan. He has won regional and national competitions for his guitar playing and songwriting. David incorporates a variety of innovative techniques on the guitar, as well as a mainstream sound, to support the lyrics he sings, which are unmistakably Christian. He sings about his life experiences, and captures in music a vivid description of how God has worked in his life. Performing at churches, conferences, festivals and camps has allowed David to have an audience for his original works. More recently, David has begun collaborating with other musicians. For some of his live performances, he has been joined by bassist Brian Keiper of Puyallup, and drummer Leif Jacobson of Anacortes. David has a broad range of musical influences, but strives to maintain a style all his own. His acoustically-driven textures, coupled with his soaring vocals, create a unique and powerful combination. David currently resides in Edmonds, Washington
