A Soundclick Musician with over 100 Chart Number 1's. Thank You for visiting today . . . Sincerely - Tony
Visible to Soundclick Members. (A separate domain shows more). Myself and my wife Susan can chalk up a successful life raising kids, and being completely self employed in Entertainment for 39 years. I became full-time pianist at age 26, and by the time I was 31 myself and Susan were establishing an enduring Party Entertainment Business that lasted until 2019 when we retired very timely, a month before Covid. We bought a new house and other small investments. In 2015 we moved from Cheshire UK to Staffordshire UK into a very beautiful area of woodlands, lakes, lowland moors etc. I could clearly see East Cheshire just being a Manchester suburb as the incredible advance of the City of Manchester continued into the 21st century. Our Party Business was "Ace Parties - Tony and Sue" trading from Stockport - then Wilmslow. We were especially known for 3 foot tall Marionettes in our Entertainments. If you want to see the Skeleton in action it's on Videos here. MORE: https://ukpianist.blogspot.com/

Story behind the song
Of unknown origin whether is is from the UK or USA. Originally a Folk Song. The only reference to THE ANIMALS 1964 hit lasts approx. 7 seconds as I re-create Alan Price's organ arrangement. For further reading: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_House_of_the_Rising_Sun

The part at the 2nd refrain (0:50" +) sounds great like our early bands but you've added your creative organic sounds nicely.

Just about the 1st song I ever learnt in a school band. Remember performing this in a school assembly. This takes me back. Cool playing Tony.

Very good sounding recreation of a public domain classic with a genial nod to it's previous visitors. Great work Tony!
