the harvest dreams of all we do
and of all those dreams in this fall preview
is the one lost rolling through the leaves alone with you
the full moon arises
the bats still fly,
o'er skeletal remains
of fields, passing by
picking pumpkins and all those squash
the chill in the air, that first frost
corn brown in the fields yet not forgot
as combines roar and the tractors romp
