Riding the Waves by Adam Fieled, from the Darkyr Sooner EP, was recorded at Buttons Sound in New York in 1999. Produced/engineered by Paul Levin. The Darkyr Sooner EP was first released on mp3.com in 2000, re-released by Funtime Records in 2021.

Written in Todd Smolar's apartment on Leonard Street in Tribeca, right next to the Knitting Factory. Heavy Hunky Dory and Low-era Bowie vibe. I played this live with Briana Winter at the Sidewalk Cafe in the East Village NYC, also in 1999. Darkyr Sooner is a pun on the album title Bryter Layter, as used by Nick Drake.
