It will always make sense if you don't think about it too much.
I've been writing, recording and performing music for longer than I care to admit. Let's just say 20-25 years... give or take... as the crow flies. In the studio I do about everything except drums. I'm not 'great' at anything, just 'pretty good' at a lot of different things. I currently front 7 different line ups and outfits of various shapes and sizes and that keeps me playing pretty much year around. I can scale it down for budget-gigs and I can expand it out for the 'Big Show'. Current Acts: 1. SOLO- Louie McNeal (Acoustic Guitar and Vocal) 2. DUO 1- Fitzpatrick/ McNeal (2 Acoustic Guitars and 2 Vocals) 3. DUO 2 - Mc2 (Acoustic Guitar, Bass and 2 Vocals) 4. TRIO 1. - Acousticats (2 Acoustic Guitars, Upright Bass and 3 Vocals) 5. TRIO 2. - Hard Edits (Electric Guitar, Bass, Drums and 3 vocals 6. TRIO 3. - LTC (2 Acoustic Guitars, Percussion and 3 vocals) 7. QUARTET- Long Time Coming (Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass, Drums and 4 Vocals) [Though the majority of these bands and acts primarily focus on genre specific cover material, they are all capable of performing our impressive catalog of original compositions, when the opportunity presents itself.] I have recorded and produced 9 of my own albums (most available here on this site) and I have produced countless other acts and performers throughout my region. I love collaborating on songwriting. Some of my more accessible and popular tracks are ones where I worked with a collaborator. Music is my life. I sacrificed a LOT to be able to do it on my own terms and be happy about it. There are easier ways to go, but I prefer the more challenging aspects of writing, recording and performing my music. I really like the phrase, "A calm and easy ocean will make a lousy sailor out of you." Don't know who said it, but I seem to live by it.

Lyrics
She followed my tracks all the way from Moldova The stings of her kisses didn't fool me at all And now here I stand down in southern Croatia With a gun to my head, and my back to the wall The black Adriatic don't provide me much cover Caught up in a crossfire of glory and greed Now I'm hearing stories of American soldiers Topping off the tanks of those Yank war machines They're topping off the tanks of those yank war machines (Chorus) Last I remember was a blow to my head And waking up naked on some basement floor I can hear the bullets tearing up the village And the bombers and the tanks are knocking at the door And all the talks in Geneva won't do me no good Nobody hears the cries in a city of pain And I'm just a smuggler from East San Diego In a bad situation, but I hear those planes I'm in a bad situation, but i hear those planes (Chorus x2)
