We are a 6 piece band although originally there were 8 of us. We were formed in 2017 as a U3A group, hence our former name, and by our love of Rock and Blues.
We are a 6 piece band. But were an 8 piece originally We love making music together and have a definite leaning towards Rock and Roll and the Blues, but we have also developed quite an eclectic mix of music to perform. We usually play only twice a year, raising money for local charities. Members: Martyn vocals Martin lead guitar Keith lead and rhythm guitar + vocals Mike rhythm guitar Dave Bass John drums unfortunately deceased Roger percussion and vocals Steve keyboard retired because of ill health

Story behind the song
Mike Reynolds, Song Writer Our World" and Routes of Blues. I have spent most of my career in electronics and my first project was building and testing a storage device for the HEOS satellite. Launch date HEOS-1 5th December 1968 (Highly Eccentric Orbit Satellite-1) was the first European spacecraft to venture beyond near-Earth space, in order to study the magnetic fields, radiation and the solar wind outside of the Earths magnetosphere. This life long interest in space and the current predicament of climate change sparked the writing of the song Our World the arrangement was a collaboration between myself and Keith one of our lead guitarists.
