Story behind the song
It was the middle of December 2020. The years almost ending. I went to one of my favorite classes: Reading/Writing. Ive always loved reading and writing personally. However, the influence of this particular song came from a certain assignment I had to do that is based on the theme of a book: The Great Gatsby. The Great Gatsby book was a dramatic, engaging, sad story of life in the early 1920s.
A character named Jay Gatsby had a dream to marry Daisy (another character in the book) forever and have a long-lasting life. So, one of the two assignments the class had to do was to make a story about their dreams were and chose what the class wanted to pursue in life in whatever format they choose.
As you can see, I wrote a song about my dreams and a little bit about myself which I go on in-depth in my album Life Beyond Everything. My beginnings, struggles, and my main goal in life are all briefly explained here.
