Story behind the song
A Wonder is about the transforming power of God's love.
It is about who we are in Christ Jesus.
Not about what people or circumstances tell us. Not about what our human mind tells us.
I specially love the line that says;
"Jesus your love gave me a new name"
This is what happens when Jesus comes into our lives and hearts,
and we allow his word and light to permeate our beings, and his Spirit to overwhelm us. Everything becomes brand new. He lives in us and his light in us cannot not be hidden.
He calls us the light of the world [Matthew 5:14-16]
He commands us to shine this light before men, not so as to be seen but so he can be seen through us, and God our father glorified.
Creation is waiting .We are not ordinary. We can not just fit in.
Everywhere we are are, in every situation we find ourselves, we are called upon to be the light, to show forth his love. To represent Christ.
If you have not yet accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, I'll pause here to pray with you and let his Spirit minister to your heart as you say with me, from your heart: "Lord Jesus, I am sorry for all my sins and repent of them. Today I give you my life and confess my faith in you, Christ Jesus, the son of God who died for me and rose in glory to give me eternal life. Today I accept you as my Lord, and Savior, and surrender my whole life to you.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen". You are now a child of God and I'm pleased to tell you that he sees you as a Wonder, a carrier of his light and love. Walk in it, show it forth. [John 3:16; 1 Peter 2:9 ]
There's so much God has put in us. We cannot afford to let doubts, fear, lies and circumstances stop us. His grace is available and enough for us.

If you needed reaffirmation, you got it.
In case you did not know, today I can boldly tell you, You are God's special child, a masterpiece, loaded with beauty and Wonder.
He knows you and he chose you.
Today and each day, shine like never before. Show forth the wonders of God's great love.

A Wonder is very personal to me and I specially dedicate it to all those struggling with low self esteem, fear, depression, and anxiety.
As you open up your heart to God, I pray that his light and love will overwhelm every part of your beings in Jesus name. My earnest prayer is that we'll all see ourselves through the eyes of God and walk in the light of whom he made us to be. Carriers of his light, vessels of his love.
