Beyond Paisley Test Kitchen Homemade Marshmallows
A cottage industry in a red brick Cape.
Marshmallow Madness MADNESS
1
For four thousand years its a treat,
In Egypt for all the elite,
Its easy to make and its fun;
Bet that youve not seen it done.
Water and sugar, corn syrup and gelatin,
Heat, lots of heat, then however you flavor it,
Air, all the air M M Marshmallows
CHORUS
2
In a half cup of water you bloom the gelatin
Nother half cup water on stovetop,
Add sugar, corn syrup, and a pinch of salt,
Two hundred forty terrifying degrees.
Use a candy thermometer cause the temp of the sugar
Is never forgiving, you really dont have any
Wiggle room, no wiggle room!
CHORUS
3
Pour the mixture on the gelatin and whip it,
When you hear that its thick, add the flavor,
Whip it again, get some spray in a tray
Let it set up overnight.
Nutella, Pumpkin, Baileys Irish Crème,
Tequila Rose, Vanilla Saffron,
Who makes these?
CHORUS
