Story behind the song
If I listen to a song, I usually listen to it because I like the music, but a song is even better if I can relate to the lyrics and understand where the singer is coming from. So rather than being a songwriter that is only me me me, I try to write songs that lots of people can relate to. When I write down lyrics, usually something or someone inspried me to do write it but it goes off in a general direction to avoid it being only about me. So rather than asking me who this song is for, you should ask yourself that same question and try to apply the lyrics into your own life and see if it makes sense that way. This song is not "for" anyone and its no more about my life than it is yours. Thats the message I am trying to get at. I hope this is making some sense to you. Thanks for reading.
