"Unfold" is a story about a love that I lived and lessons I learned about self-deception and the heartache that comes when you do all to fool yourself.

Simple Connexion singer-songwriters creating compositions and cover derivatives using the groovy vibrations of 60's-70's pop, folk, soft-rock, and harmonies.
Claude Larivière was born and raised on Le Plateau Mont-Royal, Québec. At the age of 14, he retrieved a sleeping guitar from a shelf in his Father’s closet and then following a few turns of the needle on the White Album his musical journey began. Jyl’s musical experience began by inheriting her musician Father's love and genes for music. She was introduced at a very early age to the world of guitar strumming, country ballads, rockin' swing, vocal harmonies, the blues, and singing from the heart. Simple Connexion is the result of Jyl & Claude's love of music and the authentic connection it brings with others. The covers and derivatives they perform are with intent to honor those great artists of the ’60s and ’70s. Simple Connexion’s originals are influenced by that decade’s pop, rock, folk, and folk-rock. Their lyrics speak of deep feelings and personal experiences that, hopefully, others can easily connect with.

Lyrics
Unfold Jyl Womack As I moved on down my road I realised that my choice of you Was certainly not in my Best interests But something was there Oh so strong Kept telling myself Cant be all wrong Let it unfold, no expectations But thats a lie I told myself Just to get by and take off the shelf My heart and soul who always forgives me (Repeat) Now you and I knew damn well The thunder n heat was an omen that tells No doubt this story will leave us Sitting in disaster So I said Goodbye, knew youd fare well And you and I will often tell The story of unfolding with no expectations But that was a lie we told ourselves Yeah just to get by and take off the shelf Our heart and soul who always will forgive us (Repeat) As I moved on down my road I realised that my choice of you Was certainly not in my Best interests
