Rob Dunlop. Lead Guitarist for Hants-based rock band Polyrocket. Guitar Rock.
Hi, I'm a guitarist from Hants UK and the idea behind posting tunes here is to air some ideas and hopefully get some feedback. All comments are welcome. I play in a Hants-based rock unit called Polyrocket and we're currently looking for a new lead singer as our current one has to get back to Oz .... so, if you're interested check out www.myspace.com/polyrocket and drop us a msg. Laters, Rob.

Story behind the song
This song has been around for a few years now but wasn't recorded until I brought the new multitrack. This is my first attempt at recording a full tune at home, by myself (with a couple of beers) and it's basically about breaking up from a relationship that was good, but was also never really going to work. Yeah, I know ... how cleche !?! .. but there you go !
Lyrics
Lyrics and Layout Intro Verse 1 This one’s for you, This one’s for you. Just a note to say I’m still feeling blue. Thinking how it was when It was me and you, It was me and you. What a thing to loose. Verse 2 Memories Inside my head. I sometimes wish that I could Blank them out instead. But then I remember something good, Remembering how we once were. How we once were. Chorus Sometimes I tell myself There’s nothing good In thinking about the past. Then I look inside, Where I still keep your smile. And I feel glad. There are times when I will cry And put your name to my pain inside But that’s not how I will re-live those days gone by. Verse 3 This one’s for you, This one’s for you. Just a note to say I’m still feeling blue. Thinking how it was when It was me and you, It was me and you. What a thing to loose. Verse 4 There are times when I look back, And I think Why did I do that to you? I hate to see your face with tears. Dry them knowing I am here. I’m always here for you. Repeat Chorus Guitar Solo Repeat Chorus Outro
