Despite taking refuge in our homes from work or church attendance, the pandemic reminds us that God remains with us.

Many genres, Contemporary Christian, Lyrics, instrumentals
I write my own songs ;) I have a very diverse taste in music, from Pop to Classical, including Rock, Folk, Jazz, Country, World Music (Celtic, Romanian), Old Timey Stringband/Bluegrass, and Latin. All these styles are in my Christian Contemporary catagory. I usually write the music first, and then put words to the music. Though I don't sing good enough yet, I though I would put my instrumentals out along with my music. Generally, I think my music/lyrics are getting better, being more skilled now than when I started.

Story behind the song
I converted my church snow day song, by the same title, to a timely one on how church folk deal with the 2020 pandemic.
Lyrics
Where Are All the People? - 2020 (pandemic) (Words by David Davis) Where are all the people? Where are those of faith? A virus came and changed the world They're home with God and safe Children in their jammies YouTube on flat screen We worship God, and cast our cares To One who is unseen Chorus: Nothing can separate us, Nothing can separate us, We cannot be shaken. Were in the Lord Nothing can separate us, Nothing can separate us, We cannot be shaken. Were in the Lord Were in the Lord The roads are nearly empty But trucks still run supplies Those that have to go to work Must work so we survive The world sits by and watches. The numbers rise again The dying die, infection spreads. When will this ever end? (chorus) Many are now praying More than did before They isolate and stay at home Not knowing whats in store But when this plague is over And its safe once more Will they keep up with their prayers, or Go back to old norms? (chorus) Hallowed is Your name, Lord Your name remains the same Soon well come together, then, To praise your Holy name Where are all the people? Where are those of faith? A virus came and changed the world. They're home with God and safe, They're home with God and safe. David Davis copyright 2020
