Story behind the song
This was written by Sean and Mike (drums) of Meson-K for Mike's girlfriend. It was never meant to become anymore than a one time thing. Sean and Mike played it at a birthday party, and many were moved. When 7 songs needed to be chosen to record, Step x Step had to be one of them. Meson-K recruited pianist Zarni Dewit to help strengthen the song with a moving piano part.
