Story behind the song
This is about a woman who lives locally to me, and everyone in the area knows of her. I think every neighbourhood has got it's own version of this woman, so people should be able to relate to this track.
Lyrics
She goes to the shops on her own She goes there every day She buys her cigarettes She doesn’t have much to say The kids, they all call her names But I really don’t think that is fair She doesn’t do any harm Even though I think she ain’t all there She’s a mad, mad woman you know She’s a mad, mad woman you know She’s a mad, mad woman you know She’s a mad, mad woman She walks so very fast It’s really hard to keep the pace I don’t know about her past It doesn’t show in her face The kids, they all call her names But I really don’t think that is fair She doesn’t do any harm Even though I think she ain’t all there She’s a mad, mad woman you know She’s a mad, mad woman you know She’s a mad, mad woman you know She’s a mad, mad woman She’s a mad, mad woman you know She’s a mad, mad woman you know She’s a mad, mad woman you know She’s a mad, mad woman
