An experimentive music project covering a variety of genres with emotional tones.
Formed in early 2003, Katie & KayeN are the two behind "Dichorum"; an experimentive music project covering a variety of genres with emotional tones. Sharing similar interests in music, the two got together just three days after their first conversation, creating their very first song: "Removing The Grey". Afterwards, they worked together on more songs experimenting with all kinds of different sounds, and Dichorum was born. Katie writes lyrics and sings, KayeN makes music and also writes lyrics and does vocals. All songs are original and are the works of both members of Dichorum with a wide range of influences.

Lyrics
Tracing Eels (lyrics by KayeN; music by KayeN) Short days yield long nights; coat it with a conversation. Leave the thoughts behind me. Falling deep into darkness, and deeper I sank. Under grey; shadows covered me. Closed shut in a casket: my wounded heart bled, hiding lost in confusion. :||: I was left alone. Nobody heard me here. Locked inside my casket hiding lost in confusion. [you've dug the dirt that covered me] 'Gathered all the pieces and took a step into acceptance. :||: Letting go of fears. Turn away from tears. Letting off a sigh, relieved from the negativity. Falling out, falling now. What it used to be: (fallen into ruin) drive away. Find a way to hang on tight. (climbing into openness) You could be the one... [break these walls] But, I can't seem to find you? New to this. 'Knew the risk. Apologies. (Thank you) Maybe all I want is just to avoid (the silence) Maybe all I need is to find another way (to flee to a new life) :||: As the pages turn, the words inside begin to burn and I try to hear the silence but, the best of me clings tightly onto history, and I try to flee to a new life. Just another story? [I hope I never reach the end.] Swollen wounds are vulnerable but I trust you so I'm opening the doors exposing the core. Don't wake me if I die tonight... After all that happens and when the days begin to end: this day will stay in my heart, and I thank you.
