Story behind the song
This is a song, that Scott (Father Time) and I came up with,
technically I wrote most of it, but his was the greater emotion driving it,
I just know how to tap into this kind of thing... I have extraordinary powers of empathy.
Don't congratulate me, it can be quite a pain in the ass.
But, the story behind this song,
is that Scott is a big fan of Supergirl,
and the actress herself, Melissa Benoist.
The show SUPERGIRL, is on the WB Network.
I kept up with it myself, for the first couple of seasons.
And I liked it very much.
Not like Scott, but I liked the show enough,
that when Scott told me,
that DC Comics (the show's creator)
was considering doing a SUPERGIRL motion picture,
but that they were not planning on using Melissa Benoist
as the movie SUPERGIRL,
well, even I thought that was wrong.
And I wasn't the one so in awe of her,
that he could not even speak were she
to enter the same room he stands in.
I've tried to explain to my friend,
having some experience with meeting your idol,
Celebrities are people, not Dreams...
when you get to know them, if you get to know them, you realize this.
Maybe one day, Scott and Melissa can be good friends,
and he will have gotten over the 'star worship' or whatever it is
the poor devil deals with.
I totally do feel for the guy.

It is my hope, and Scott's as well,
