BLOOD OF JESUS is a release from the LIGHTHOUSE 7 song compilation.
Although some may deny it to be theoretically proper to say, but back in the day, during certain times in Church services and revival meetings, I use to hear the old folks say, "I plead the Blood of Jesus!" They would do so especially when they would lay their hands on someone who needed a healing or evil spirits cast out. Pleading the Blood of Jesus was one of their ways of doing Spiritual warfare against the devil, his imps, and people who were used by them. Whether pleading the Blood of Jesus is theoretically proper or not, during those days, GOD moved and people were healed, delivered and set free.
Today, that same Blood that flowed from Immanuel's veins has not lost any of its Power. The Blood of Jesus still has the Power to heal all of all sicknesses and diseases, and it cleanses the stain that sin leaves on a repentant sinner who becomes born again into the Kingdom of GOD.
It is written that our Chief Mentor, LORD Jesus, from whom the sinless Blood flowed from, was a healer. It is written according to Luke 7:18-23(NKJV), "...John, calling two of his disciples to him, sent them to ask Jesus, "Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?" When the men had come to Him, they said, "John the Baptist has sent us to You, asking, "Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?" And that very hour Jesus cured many of infirmities, afflictions, and evil spirits; and to many blind He gave sight. Jesus answered and said to them, "Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have The Gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me."
Jesus/Yeshua said, in John 14:11-13(NKJV), "Believe Me that I am in The FATHER and The FATHER in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My FATHER. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that The FATHER may be glorified in the Son."
Isaiah 53:5 reveals to us that, "...Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."
